About Sharon Emmons
Sharon Emmons, founder of Entertainment Pro Insurance, brings over 45 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a career that spans retail brokering, entertainment underwriting, and wholesale brokering.
Her journey began in 1972 with Fireman’s Fund in San Francisco, which later moved its home office to Novato, CA. In the mid-1970s, Sharon relocated to Southern California and worked in several retail insurance agencies until 1989. Following her entrepreneurial instincts, she took a hiatus from insurance to start and run a successful maid and janitorial service in Las Vegas from 1989 to 1995.
In 1995, family obligations brought her back to California, where she joined CNA in Universal City as an entertainment underwriter. When CNA exited the entertainment sector in 2000, Sharon transitioned to a wholesale broker role, continuing her focus on entertainment insurance. After several years with other firms, she embraced her entrepreneurial spirit once more and founded Entertainment Pro Insurance in Las Vegas in June 2003.
